MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Education:
• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized pharmacy school or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Current California pharmacy license with necessary continuing education to ensure continued licensure.
• Experience:
• Prior acute hospital pharmacy experience is required.
• Residency is desired.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and supervisory experience is highly desired.
• Knowledge:
• Drug Utilization Evaluation Procedures, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and quality-improvement process is required.
• Computer experience is required, including pharmacy systems, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Special Skills/Equipment:
• Ability to act as a primary preceptor to pharmacy students.
• Good interpersonal, communication, presentation, and time-management skills required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS-HCP recognition required |
